Access information via the Internet: the strengths and limitations faced by indigenous communities - to investigate how socioeconomically disadvantaged Indigenous Australians engage with the Internet to meet everyday information needs; and identify barriers to Indigenous Australians exploring the Internet, and the opportunities available to improve their interactions with web technologies.

The Ngadjuri and Ngarrindjeri communities will be invited to participate in a one-rear project to gather data about how they use the Internet to support their everyday needs, and the barriers to them exploring the Internet.  It is intended that findings will inform social and technology researchers and Indigenous communities about their Internet use, and help provide Indigenous people with equitable access to online knowledge.
